Description: While at first glance, Alzheimer’s, Huntington’s, Parkinson’s, amyotrophic lateral sclerosis, multiple sclerosis, and others may appear to be distinct from each other, upon closer inspection we see many similarities among the diseases that argue for a unified treatment approach. As our understanding of CNS disease improves, we may find that addressing specific aspects of disease such as inflammation, NMDA receptor binding, and vascular health may provide a benefit across multiple indications.
